The text in the DRAFT page of this article has been reviewed for the next edition of the yearbook.

The tables and figures in the Excel file (attached at the bottom of the DRAFT article) have been formatted to the new standards for the Eurostat Yearbook. The images for these updated tables and figures have not been loaded onto Statistics Explained. To check the content of the tables and figures it is necessary to download the Excel file linked at the end of the DRAFT article.

The DRAFT article is ready to be reviewed for its inclusion in the next edition of the Eurostat Yearbook.

  • Please review the content of the DRAFT and if there are no problems with the text, tables and figures please SIGHT the article.
  • Otherwise, changes may be made directly in the DRAFT version of the text and/or noted here on this DISCUSSION page. Changes to the Excel file should either be noted on this DISCUSSION page or be made directly in the Excel file attached to the DRAFT page — if made in the Excel file changes should be clearly and unambiguously highlighted and the file reloaded with the same file name.

Once the article has been SIGHTED, we will prepare and load a final (English language only) version of the Excel file.
