Final energy consumption - Energy Efficiency Directive is an indicator that follows the definition laid out in Article 2 of the revised Energy Efficiency Directive (EU/2023/1791) and represents the total energy consumed by end users, including international aviation, but excluding ambient energy. It is used for measuring progress towards the targets set by the Energy Efficiency Directive.
