Primary energy consumption - Energy Efficiency Directive is an indicator that follows the definition laid out in Article 2 of the revised Energy Efficiency Directive (EU/2023/1791) and is calculated as gross available energy excluding international marine bunkers, final non-energy consumption and ambient energy. It is used for measuring progress towards the targets set by the Energy Efficiency Directive.
