This is a data collection that specifically targets the COVID-19 and its recovery period for collecting information about the daily life and living conditions of society. It was designed at the beginning of 2021 jointly by Eurostat and national statistical institutes. A total of 11 EU Member States (Belgium, Bulgaria, Ireland, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia and Finland) have joined the initiative and 10 of them successfully delivered data. The first stage of the data collection covers the period of 2021-2022. QLC can be incorporated in any existing or new national representative survey, which allows infra-annual (quarterly or monthly) data collection.
