Environmental protection expenditure accounts Updated 17/06/2025 National expenditure on environmental protection (NEEP) measures the resources used by resident units in a given period for protecting the natural environment. It is calculated as a sum of current expenditure on environmental protection (EP) activities and investments for EP activities, including net transfers to the rest of the world.
